Honda Motorcycle Scrambler Blue Tank Army Star With Black
With an incredible motorcycle modification talent that seems way above his age, Jody Millhouse has built his way into the heart of numerous motorcycle enthusiasts. Five years ago, at just 20, Millhouse launched Thornton Hundred Motorcycle. It's a tuning shop that specializes in the design and production of custom bikes for a diverse range of enthusiasts whose cravings for motorcycle style and performance outshoots the boundaries of stock production.
From a one-man production team, the England-based Thornton Hundred now boasts of a team of five workers. They've moved from its previous location to a more expansive base in the heart of Buckinghamshire, 5 miles from the renowned Formula 1 Silverstone circuit. Thornton Hundred bikes are built to world-class standards using modern techniques such as 3D scanning & printing, CAD designs, and the likes. From past to present, here are Thornton Hundred Motorcycles' most gorgeous builds.
10 1997 Honda SLR650
In dire need of a bike for the Bike Shed Sunday Scramble and the London Distinguished Gentleman's Ride events, Millhouse turned to a 1997 Honda SLR650 and built it into this lovely edifice, in just two weeks. With the intent of building "a classic style scrambler on a proven platform," Millhouse incorporated the Honda with a new Honda CG125 tank, black PVD coated fork legs, and Continental TKC80 tires.
Furthermore, Millhouse added hand-built front and rear aluminum mudguards to the bike, as well as Hagon shock and LED headlight and taillights among others.
9 1986 Honda CR500 Street Tracker
Undoubtedly, this build shot Millhouse into the limelight. Started as a 1986 Honda CR500 Street Tracker, but when the talented young tuner was done with the transformation, the custom world was bedazzled. Having been completely overhauled, the vintage bike now features a rebuilt 500cc two-stroke engine, reinvigorated with a new HPI ignition system.
It also has a bespoke under-seat exhaust and stainless tig welded piping, dual mufflers, and an aluminum radiator. Nonetheless, the exquisite red and black finish can't be overlooked as well.
8 1983 Yamaha XV750 Virago Street Tracker
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best Virago builds anyone has ever done, and it was based on a 1983 Yamaha XV750 Virago Street Tracker. The bike was fully rebuilt from the ground up, and it features a monocoque style seat and tank — made from mild steel sheet — which was then given a Kenny Roberts style speed block paint.
Also, Millhouse fitted the motorcycle with Ducati 820 front end adding Brembo caliper & disc, while a custom stainless exhaust system with handmade alloy silencer was included as well.
7 Ducati 1299 Panigale
The stock Ducati 1299 Panigale is arguably the most gorgeous monster bike in the market. Nonetheless, Thornton Hundred Motorcycles felt it could build it to become even more terrifying, and the result is this mind-blowing masterpiece.
The team spent 70 hours fabricating a special titanium exhaust system for the bike, and it also tuned the engine for an increased output of about 217 horsepower. Its features include exposed Öhlins forks, unique 3D-printed headlight housing, and a custom-built alloy mudguard.
6 WFB
Another recent awesome transformation by the Thornton Hundred Motorcycles, and the muse for this spectacle is a stock 1,200 cc Triumph Bonneville Bobber. It's called the "World's Fastest Bobber" due to its insane performance prowess courtesy of a Rotrex C15 Supercharger, forged pistons, and dry NOS injection.
With this setup, the Bobber's 1.2-liter parallel-twin now pushes out over 200 horses, thereby achieving a quarter-mile dash in 10.49 seconds at 130 mph. Image Design Custom completed the build with a bespoke livery.
5 2000 Ducati 900SS Café Racer
This 2000 Ducati 900 Super Sports Café Racer was a personal project for Millhouse even before he started Thornton Hundred, but he has since sold the incredible piece of motorcycle art. Finished in black and gold darmah colors as inspired by vintage 70/80s Ducatis, this build now features several custom fittings.
These include frame & subframe, dash & Motogadget equipment, wiring loom, as well as seat and tank strap. Other custom features include LED tail- and headlight, fiberglass tank with seat and front fairing, and so on.
4 2020 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 RS
Originally a 148-bhp monster, this 2020 Triumph Speed Triple 1050 RS has now received the Thornton Hundred treatment to assume a fiercer position both in looks and output. Inspired by the Panigale previously built by Millhouse, this Triumph now features a custom bodywork with a speedo fashioned into the tank.
It also has 3D-printed features which include side pods with aero wings, headlight, and indicator pods with Motogadget bar-end indicators. Furthermore, Thornton Hundred gave the build a bespoke supercharger kit designed by Millhouse and a stainless exhaust.
3 2020 Triumph T120 Ace
As an elite tuner, Millhouse and his crew now receive orders from a diverse set of people, which include celebrities. Hence, this build was commissioned by TV presenter and fitness star Joe Wicks. Having started life as a 2020 Triumph T120 Ace, however, the bike now features Millhouse's wide wheel conversion kit with custom triple clamps.
But those are just a tiny bit of this incredibly amazing build, which is made even more gorgeous by its black and blue finish and gigantic Pirelli tires.
2 2003 Triumph T100
Another Millhouse masterpiece, this is an undeniably gorgeous modification based on a 2003 Carb model 865cc Triumph T100. Several fittings set this bike apart; from its 30mm set of 16" black alloy rims with stainless spokes to its big Avon Safety Mileage tires, this build has the looks to back up its reputation.
Finished in a cool Audi Nardo grey color, the T100 retained its stock tank located next to a custom seat and fender-free bobbed and looped frame. It also features a bespoke exhaust system that produces a delightful grunt.
1 Paevey's Triumph Bonneville Bobber
Here, it was American model and actor Ryan Paevey's time to give his Triumph Bonneville Bobber the Thornton Hundred's treatment. For incredible power, the bike was slapped with a TTS Supercharger and an intercooler.
Also, through a modified EFI system, Paevey's bobber now achieves around 12 psi of boost with an output of about 120 horsepower. The sound from the exhaust is also envious, and it was influenced by the addition of an x-pipe and some uncorked slash pipes. An impeccable build fit for a superstar.
