Keenon is thrilled to make his debut with SRT! Dragon in Shrek The Musical (2021)

"Maisey" is thrilled to be back on stage and peculiarly happy to render to SRT where she performed in Cinderella and Beehive! Michele originated the role of "Justice Charlier" in the LA Workshop of Rock of Ages and subsequently on Broadway for four years. Other Broadway productions include Zoot Accommodate and Hal Prince's Roza. She's traveled nationally and internationally with Godspell, One Mo' Time and Menopause, the Musical. In 2014 Michele became a member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival'due south Acting Company and remained and so for vii seasons. Favorite credits include the premiere of The Get-Become'due south Caput Over Heels (The Oracle), Henry Four and V (Mistress Quickly), A Wrinkle in Time (Mrs. Who), The Wiz (Addaperle), and MacBeth (Lady MacDuff/Hecate). Michele is a 1999 recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Award for The Last Session.

Courtney Glass is originally from nearby Sacramento, Courtney now calls Sonora home.  In betwixt those locations were years spent in New York Metropolis, traveling the American regional circuit, sailing the loftier seas, and touring through Australia.  Favourite credits include the original Broadway visitor of THE Woman IN WHITE, the Australian tours of SWEENEY TODD and Sunday IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, and many shows right here at Sierra Rep, MURDER ON THE ORIENT Express, SHREK, and CAMELOT, to name a few. She is honoured to support this extraordinary grouping of women from the wings and thanks you lot, our loyal audience, for supporting us from the seats.

GRIFFIN BARR

Pinocchio, Thelonious, The Piped Piper in Shrek The Musical (2021)

Griffin is incredibly grateful and beyond thrilled to be returning to SRT for the 6th time, a place he considers a second home. He was last seen on the Fallon Firm stage in Route 66. Born in Champaign, IL, Griffin discovered his honey for theatre in high school, which led him to follow the path to Los Angeles to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre in 2011 at AMDA: College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts. Previous LA credits include Legally Blonde, The Cloak-and-dagger Garden, Cabaret (AMDA), Anything Goes, Fancy-free, Joseph (Glendale Centre Theatre). Griffin joined the SRT family unit in 2014 in Mary Poppins, which then led to a fabled journey with other shows including The Music Man, My Fair Lady, and (his personal favorite) Pageant. In 2019, Griffin moved to New York Metropolis where he currently resides. Thank you for the opportunity to return to this very special place and to this very special family. We need theatre correct now more than than ever and we cannot look to reintroduce yous to this magical experience. Much love to yous all!

Alex is making his Sierra Repertory Theatre debut and couldn't be more excited to share it with such an amazing cast. His most notable roles being Spot Conlon in Newsies, Charles in Sons of the Prophet, and Slank in Peter and the Starcatcher. Alex has performed in productions across the central valley at Modesto Junior College, CSU Stanislaus, Gallo Center for the Arts, and Prospect Theater Project. He'd like to thank his friends and family, and especially Hollie and Heather Bettencourt at Strut Performing Arts for always pushing him.

Ugly Duckling, Teen Fiona in Shrek The Musical (2021)

Alissa is very excited to be a part of Shrek The Musical at SRT! She began interim when she was five and has since appeared in over 30 shows, including 3 with SRT. Some of her most contempo credits include: Death Takes a Vacation (Daisy) and Disney's The Fiddling Mermaid Jr (Ursula) with MYACT; and Anne of Green Gables (Rachel Lynde) with Summerville High/CVPAA. In her free time, Alissa is an avid reader, artist, and true cat person. She is a senior at Summerville High School/CVPAA and is interested in pursuing a caste in Studio Art once she begins college. Alissa would like to thank her friends for their honey and support, Louise McPeeters for beingness an astonishing phonation teacher, Kyla Hatler for being a great mentor and friend, and her Mom for always being there for her with a center total of beloved.

Jesse worked as a commercial fisherman during the pandemic and loved it! Even so, he is beyond excited to be dorsum at SRT! He was last seen here in Mamma Mia! (Pepper) and White Christmas (Ensemble). Other credits include: Newsies (Romeo) at La Mirada Theater [Ovation Award Nomination for Best Ensemble], Westward Side Story (Activity), Into the Woods (The Baker), The Drowsy Chaperone (Gangster#ane), Tartuffe (Valere), The Piffling Mermaid (Aerialist), and Love's Labour's Lost (Ferdinand). Jesse is a choreographer. He was an assistant choreographer and dance captain for The Addams Family at PCPA. His near recent work tin can exist seen in the music video "Ahead Of A Daydream" by Miss Not Ma'am. He is also an avid surfer/skateboarder likewise as songwriter and can be found on Spotify and Apple Music. PCPA Solarium graduate (Course 2020!). Camryn is so excited to be making her SRT debut! Camryn was born and raised in Sacramento, CA and started performing at a very young historic period with River City Theatre Company and Sacramento Music Circus. This year, Camryn graduated from the Academy of Arizona with a BFA in Musical Theatre. Her Arizona Repertory Theatre credits include: Spring Enkindling (Martha), Pippin (Ensemble/Dance Captain) and Sis Act (Ensemble). Camryn would similar to give thanks her friends and family for their endless love and back up. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Young Shrek, Fairy, Dwarf in Shrek The Musical (2021)

Bree is ix years erstwhile and in the 4th class at Gilt Blitz Charter School in Sonora. Bree was in Once On This Island (Ensemble) and 'Storytelling Ensemble' with SRT Jr. She excels in both math and reading and enjoys school, gymnastics, voice lessons, and trip the light fantastic. Bree loves tinkering and has a guinea sus scrofa named Triscuit. She was born smiling and loves to tell stories. Bree is super excited to ham it up on the Shrek stage.

Quinn is 11 years onetime and is in the 6th course at Golden Rush Lease School in Sonora. She has been tapping, pliéing, spinning and leaping on stage with local dance companies since she was 3. Quinn was in Once On This Island (Ensemble) and "Storytelling Ensemble" with SRT Jr. Her first love is reading and currently her eyes are glued to Harry Potter. A natural function model and leader, she is so excited to share the Shrek phase with her sister, Bree.

Peter Pan in Shrek The Musical (2021)

Dexter is delighted to return to SRT! His beginning chief stage role was in Holiday Jukebox. He has participated in many of SRT Jr's workshop productions, including Beauty and the Beast Jr., Once On This Island Jr., and The Wizard of Oz Jr. Dexter is an agile dancer at Female parent Lode Dance Academy, where he takes jazz, hip hop, and musical theater. He is a 6th grader at Gold Rush Charter School and hopes to nourish Connections Visual and Performing Arts University side by side year. Dexter loves reading, playing video games, and cooking in the kitchen. Just like Peter Pan, he hopes he never has to grow up!

Gabrielle is delighted to exist making her SRT debut! She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Kansas, having earned a BA in theatre performance. Her professional credits include La Cage aux Folles (Collette/Cagelle), The Legend of Georgia McBride (Jo) and Chasing Gods (Olivia) all with Kansas Repertory Theatre. She has also performed at the William Inge Theatre Festival, and for GradWorks with Sarah Lawrence Higher. In 2019, Gabrielle worked as an Didactics Swain for NewYorkRep theatre visitor. In her free fourth dimension, Gabrielle likes to go thrift shopping, long boarding, and rollerblading! She is so grateful to exist in Sonora, and for this opportunity!

Valerie has been a freelance director/ choreographer for over 23 years. Valerie is currently the Artistic Managing director of the Oregon Cabaret Theatre in Ashland. She has worked at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theater, PCPA Theaterfest, Syracuse Opera, Sierra Repertory Theatre, Performance Riverside, Glendale Centre Theatre, Fresno Grand Opera, Resonance Works, Lucid by Proxy, Summertime Repertory Theatre, Morgan Wixson Theatre, Oregon Cabaret Theatre, and many others.

SEAN PAXTON

Music Director for Shrek The Musical; Composer for Agatha Christie'due south Murder on the Orient Limited (2021)

Sean is a composer and pianist based in Los Angeles. Originally from Sonora, he attended USC for Jazz Functioning studying with Milcho Leviev and Cedar Walton. After finishing his degree, Sean spent a year in Glasgow, Scotland, playing in hotels and working with the Lothian Gaelic Choir. Then, subsequently working in San Francisco with jazz and pop groups, he returned to Los Angeles and a career as a composer and pianist. He has music directed dozens of productions at diverse theatres including Sierra Rep, Milwaukee Rep, PCPA, The Odyssey, The NoHo Arts Center, Sierra Madre Playhouse, and has played and produced music for Disney and Universal Studios. Sean recently scored the honor-winning feature Refuge, SMP's product of Deathtrap, and received ASCAP's Harold Arlen Honour for picture scoring.

DAVID LINDSAY-ABAIRE

Volume & Lyrics for Shrek The Musical (2021)

David Lindsay-Abaire was nearly recently nominated for two Tony Awards for his piece of work on Shrek The Musical: Best Book of a Musical and Best Score (with composer Jeanine Tesori). Prior to that, he was awarded the 2008 Ed Kleban Accolade every bit America's most promising musical theatre lyricist and the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play Rabbit Hole, which premiered on Broadway at MTC's Biltmore Theatre. Rabbit Hole also received five Tony Award nominations, including Best Play, and the Spirit of America Award. His other shows include Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, Wonder of the Earth, High Fidelity and A Devil Inside, among others. Wolfe). The National Theatre product of Caroline, or Change in London received the Olivier Award for Best New Musical. Her first musical, Violet, written with Brian Crawley, received the NY Drama Critics Circumvolve Award. She has received Drama Desk and Obie Awards, and was cited past ASCAP every bit the offset woman composer to take "two new musicals running concurrently on Broadway." Whitney is a breathtaking designer and properties artisan from Decatur, IL. They have a passion for education that has kept them near academia, and as such, they are currently finishing a Master's program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. At university, Whitney's recent breathtaking designs include a streamed production of bobrauschenbergamerica, and a pre-COVID live production of Marcus, or The Hugger-mugger of Sweet. Whitney also enjoys exploring the infinite styles and uses for puppetry, and they were thrilled to have composite that passion into their piece of work on Shrek. This is Whitney's first project with SRT and they are very grateful for the warm welcome! Special thanks to their co-designer, Dana.

Bethany is beyond excited to be back with her SRT family. You concluding saw her work in …Trailer Park Musical and Beehive: the 60's Musical! She was the Costume Production Supervisor at Academy of Art University. She has her MFA in Costume Design/Hair & Brand-Upward design from Utah State University. You may have seen her costume designs in the greater bay area including A Christmas Carol with Eye Rep, Caroline, or Modify with Ray of Low-cal Theater, Ain't Misbehavin' (Bay Area Theater Critic's Circle nomination for All-time in the Bay overall production), 110 in the Shade, Sabbatum Night, and New Daughter In Town with 42nd Street Moon, Joseph…, Sis Act with Broadway By the Bay, Dreamgirls, Sis Human activity, and Annie with Berkeley Playhouse, Cymbeline with Theater of the Others. Her other work includes Mr. Marmalade with Garage Theatre, Legally Blonde the Musical with USU, Talk Radio, The Fantasticks with OMG, Dejection in the Dark with Stage 3. In add-on to the stage, Ms. Deal has worked in motion picture and television including Costume Designer for "Not Your Yr" and "N Beach" both currently in the festival excursion. She did costumes for Common salt Lake 48-60 minutes Movie Project Winners in 2013.

Brenda began her theater career in San Diego, where she was seen as Judas in Godspell, Louise in Gypsy, Nicki in Sweet Charity, and Viola in 12th Nighttime (to proper noun a few). She received awards for her roles as Ouisa in Vi Degrees of Separation, Joan in Dames at Sea, Aldonza in Man of La Mancha, and Electra in Gypsy. Brenda so went on to perform as Svetlana in the 1st National bout of Chess. Soon later on she began portraying Carmen San Diego on the PBS television set show and Video games. In addition to acting, Brenda is an accomplished make-upwardly artist and hairdresser for Tv set, Moving picture, and Theater. She received her 25 years on Broadway pin in 2019 for her work on Disney'due south Dazzler and the Beast, Les Misérables, Jekyll & Hyde, and Disney's The Panthera leo King. SRT Audiences might remember her as Tanya in Mamma Mia (2018), or as Tootie in Meet Me in St. Louis (2021). And then glad to be dorsum!

Projection Designer for Shrek The Musical (2021)

Steve volition be the projection designer for the upcoming off-Broadway revival of Assassins (dir: John Doyle). Other pattern credits include Zolushka (Cinderella) at the Rossiya Theatre in Moscow, A Bed and a Chair for New York City Center Encores!, and The Nutcracker and I with George Street Playhouse. In California, Steve has designed Les Mis for CCMT, Miss Saigon for Broadway by the Bay, and A Christmas Ballad for Center Rep. Steve has besides worked as an animator and acquaintance designer on Broadway for Memphis, The Mountaintop, Colin Quinn: Long Story Brusque, and off-Broadway for Old Jews Telling Jokes. Other credits: The History of Invulnerability with Cincinnati Playhouse, "Judy Garland in Concert" with Boston Pops, Frank Wildhorn'south Tears of Heaven with National Theatre of Korea, and Empire the Musical with La Mirada Playhouse. Steve was last seen at Sierra Rep as a performer in Crazy For You, prior to switching gears to designing.

Graduating from East Texas Baptist Academy with a B.A. in Theatre Design/Technical in 2019, Nguyen "Irene" Nguyen became a Technical Manager and Theatre Teacher at Pine Tree ISD in Longview, Texas. In 2020, she was awarded a graduate assistantship at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to pursue an M.F.A. in Scenic Design. She has recently finished her first year and is looking forward to the adjacent!

Christopher is always excited to work with Sierra Rep. SRT: Baskerville, Man of La Mancha, Sweeney Todd, and Macbeth. Christopher lives in New York now, with his married woman Christine Rowan and their daughter Vivian. He is known for his succinct bios.

Tatiana Covington-Parra is thrilled to be returning to Sierra Rep after the short, but magical run of Camelot. Beginning as a sound engineer for Romeo and Juliet, The Elephant Man, Hairspray at Modesto Junior College, she is grateful to have found a community and the opportunity to grow as an artist thanks to the guidance and support of the SRT company. Her favorite design work at SRT includes Cabaret, The Wizard of Oz, and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. She would like to thank her Mom, Grandma, family, friends, the MJC Theatre staff, and all her mentors for always allowing her to create, explore, and grow with love.

Maggie Braun is thrilled to exist back at her theatre home, stage managing Shrek The Musical! SRT: Route 66, The Wizard of Oz, Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, Beauty and the Beast, and 1000000 Dollar Quartet. With her Associates Degree in Theater from Modesto Inferior Higher, she is proud to have her dream job here in Sonora. She would like to thank her family, best friends, and Connor for supporting her in her journey of chasing her dreams. "Wait ma, I made it!"

Kimily Conkle recently coached Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express for SRT and is delighted to join the creative team once again. She has coached dialects extensively throughout the Bay Surface area, including 20 shows for TheatreWorks (notably the world premiere of Memphis). Other theatres include Marin Theatre Visitor, San Jose Stage, South Bay Musical Theatre, Broadway by the Bay, Los Altos Stage, The Mountain Play, Foothill Music Theatre, Palo Alto Players, Tabard Theatre, Dragon Productions, Pear Theatre, Woodside Community Theatre, Hillbarn Theatre, Ross Valley Players, and at Stanford University and Santa Rosa Junior College. Kimily has performed with TheatreWorks, San Jose Stage, PCPA Theaterfest, Western Stage, Los Altos Solarium Theatre, Empire Costly Room, Palo Alto Players, and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. She is a one-time member of the Theatre Arts faculty at Foothill College and received her grooming from the Regal University of Dramatic Art, American Conservatory Theater, and Pacific Solarium of the Performing Arts.

Megan Evans began studying theatre while attending California State University, Fresno where she received her Available'south Degree in Theatre Arts Blueprint and Technology in May of 2021. During her education, Megan became interested in costume production when she joined the production of Betimes(ymous) as a last-infinitesimal swing dresser. Afterwards this experience, she pursued wardrobe further by existence a dresser on Fatty Pig and securing a task in the campus costume shop. Megan was an assistant phase manager on multiple productions, most recently on All In The Timing, and she is too an experienced dancer, performing in many productions as a part of Fresno's Gimmicky Dance Ensemble. Megan strives to bring positivity into all of her projects and is excited to pursue her passions further."

ELIZABETH FLAHERTY

Assistant to the Costume Designer for Shrek The Musical (2021)

Elizabeth has been working and performing in theatre since a very young historic period. She credits her female parent Nancy for sparking her desire to design costumes when she designed her 7th-course production of Beauty and the Animal. Elizabeth prides herself in her work on The Addams Family with Belmont University, W Side Story and Evita with Studio Tenn, The Flight Dutchman with The Atlanta Opera, and many other design assisting opportunities throughout the Bay Area. Currently completing a bachelor in Fine Arts for Costume Design at University of Art Academy, she enjoys wardrobe supervising on film collaborations with fellow students, even earning a Best Costume Pattern nomination in the 2016 Nashville 48-hour film competition. After graduating, she plans to get a design banana in New York.
